Who is this course for? This course is designed for professionals and students who already use English but feel blocked when speaking or listening. If you can read well but struggle to follow native speakers or to be understood clearly, this course is for you.

How long does the course last? The course lasts 16 hours, divided into 4 modules, plus guided video practice between lessons. You can choose between different formats:
– 4 intensive sessions of 4 hours each
– 8 sessions of 2 hours each
– a personalised schedule with hours arranged individually

Do I need a high level of English? Not at all. You don’t need to be fluent to benefit from the course. You just need a solid foundation (around pre-intermediate B1 level and above). The focus is not on grammar, but on how you sound and how you listen.

Can I join the course if my English level is higher than B2? Yes. The course benefits learners at all levels because even the most advanced students often struggle with clarity, natural rhythm, and connected speech.

I have never studied English before. Can I still do the course? While it’s true that modules 1 and 2 focus exclusively on producing English sounds correctly, I recommend combining this course with a traditional grammar course. I firmly believe that every English course should include dedicated study on the English sound system instead of standard phrase repetition or correction. If you have already studied English at high school, whatever the result, you can do this course.

Will my accent disappear? No — the goal isn’t to erase your accent. It’s to make your English clear, natural, and confident, while keeping your personal identity: to find your own English voice.

Is the pronunciation British or American SSB (standard southern British) is at the basis of the course. It provides the full range of vowels, whereas GA (General American) uses a different system. If you are interested in having an American accent, there will be a module on this in the future. Send an email for further information.

Why do I need a pronunciation course if I have already studied English grammar and vocabulary? Because grammar and vocabulary don’t help if people can’t understand you—or if you can’t follow them. Pronunciation is the missing link that makes communication natural and effective.

My English is already good even though I don’t sound like a native. That’s great. Effective communication comes down to sympathy. Personality and clarity of thought are important in achieving good results. Using the sE system takes your English to the next level through sympathetic alignment with the other speaker.

What will I learn? You’ll learn how to hear and produce the key features of English pronunciation: clear vowel sounds, reduced vowels, connected speech, word stress, rhythm, and intonation. You’ll develop habits that make your English easier to understand and closer to natural speech.

Will there be opportunities to discuss grammar? No, this course is a dedicated pronunciation course. I designed it to be as intensive as possible rather than spreading lessons out over a year of study. Each lesson is full of new concepts to explore, accept and apply. There just isn't enough time left to discuss any grammar. However, this course can be combined with any English course you are currently studying.

What if I feel nervous speaking? That’s normal. Many learners panic, go blank, or feel embarrassed when speaking for a myriad of reasons. This course explores speech as a practical tool, something tangible, something to work with, rather than a reflection of your inner self and insecurities.

Will this help me understand native speakers? Yes — a big part of the course is training your ear to hear what you are actually saying instead of what you think you’re saying. This reprogramming means you will finally understand the sounds native speakers made and why they sound nothing like the written version. You’ll learn why native speakers sound so fast, how they reduce and link words, and how to catch the “music” of English so you don’t miss the meaning.

Do I need to attend every session? Regular attendance is important because each lesson builds on the previous one. While video materials are available, they complement rather than replace live explanations. If you miss a session, you can reschedule, take an individual lesson, or join an alternative course to stay on track.

How quickly will I see results? Many learners notice improvement by the second module. Significant progress only comes with consistent practice throughout the course.

Why an intensive course? The quicker you see success in your pronunciation, the quicker you can apply it during your grammar study and conversation lessons.

Why can’t my English teacher explain pronunciation instead of taking this course? Most English teachers are not trained in the systematic study of English pronunciation. While some students may have a natural ear for sounds, this often reinforces the misconception that repetition alone is enough to master pronunciation. In reality, by the time focused pronunciation study becomes necessary, many students have already stalled in their progress or switched to another course, leaving gaps that are hard to fix without a structured approach.

Can you help me with a presentation, performance, recording? Yes, I can help with presentations, performances, or recordings—but it only works best after you’ve completed the course. The course provides the foundational skills needed to apply any additional guidance effectively.

Is the course suitable for professional presentations or public speaking? Absolutely. The skills taught here help you communicate clearly and confidently in meetings, presentations, and interviews.

Why should I choose this course over others? This course has been developed specifically for Italian speakers in mind. There are no other courses that explicitly tackle each phase of pronunciation study in such a comprehensive and practical manner. You don’t need a degree to take this course. It's for everyone.
